Busy--that's how adults often
describe themselves these days. Despite technology's
time-saving conveniences, our society seems busier
than ever. Juliet Schor, a professor at Harvard University,
recently noted, "the shrinkage of leisure experienced
by nearly all types of Americans has created a profound
structural crisis of time."
With
so much to do, adults sometimes view returning to
college to complete a degree as the impossible dream.
The time-consuming responsibilities of work, family,
ministry and other commitments make further schooling
seem unrealistic. To make the unrealistic a reality,
Philadelphia Biblical University created Degree Completion,
a program that allows adults to return to college
and complete their undergraduate degree.
Degree Completion provides small, personalized
classes scheduled to accommodate even the busiest
person. Professors committed to Christ teach skills
helpful in critical thinking, problem solving and
decision making. The theories studied in class are
then directly applied to the needs of Christians in
the workplace, home and a variety of ministry settings.
The information provided on the links
to the left further describe the Degree Completion program and
provide what you need to apply. As the Dean of the
School of Lifelong Learning, I thank you for your
interest in the program and invite you to join PBU's
growing University family.

with you,
