Program Overview

Student ComputingPBU's Student Technology Program is purposed to provide YOU, the student, with a gateway to the information superhighway.  Using your own computer or a new computer purchased through our Laptop Program, you will be able to access e-mail and other Internet resources via PBU's broadband connections.  You will be on-line all of the time!  All on-campus dormitories are equipped with Internet access via wireless access points. In addition, most other key areas of campus now offer wireless service.

Eagle MailE-mail is used regularly by the University to communicate with the student body. All students are required to maintain an active PBU-based email account. New for fall of 2008, PBU has partnered with Google to provide student email through PBU's new Eagle Mail service. Students are provided with an Eagle Mail account that they will keep for life! Also new for fall of 2008, technology fees have been eliminated and wireless service is a standard benefit for all students!

In addition, PBU is continuing its partnership with Toshiba and CDWG to offer a laptop program for students who need a laptop and opt to participate. Be sure to check out the Laptop Program and see how it can benefit you!!
