PBU ANNOUNCES NAMES
OF SIX NEW DEANS
April 5, 2002
PBU is pleased to announce the appointment of deans for 6 of the
7 new schools formed in connection with an academic restructuring
that becomes effective July 1st.
Previously, PBU's academic programs and faculty members were positioned
in either the undergraduate program or the graduate school. Now,
the academic programs and faculty have been grouped into the seven
schools listed below. The restructuring was initiated in response
to a recommendation by the PA Department of Education when it granted
PBU University status in July 2000.
"The repositioning of the various academic programs under
the new schools will benefit the institution in a number of ways,"
said Provost Donald MacCullough. "It will broaden some of
our students' exposure to faculty. Also, it will provide further
opportunities for professional development and growth among faculty
who are working together in the newly-created schools."
