DR. TODD WILLIAMS NAMED PBU PROVOST
March 23, 2005
Dr. Todd Williams has been named Provost of Philadelphia Biblical University, effective July 1, 2005. Williams, a 1992 graduate of PBU, has been Headmaster of Trinity Christian School, Fairfax, VA, since 2001. Prior to that Williams was Undergraduate Dean of PBU and taught social and behavioral sciences in the University's School of Arts & Sciences.
He is replacing Dr. Kevin Huggins who requested to return to full-time teaching and writing ministries. Huggins served in the Office of the Provost for the past three years–first as Acting Provost during the illness and subsequent passing of
Dr. Donald MacCullough–and then as Provost. “Williams' passion for quality biblical higher education coupled with his understanding of academic administration are an excellent balance for the position of PBU's Provost,” said President Sherrill Babb. “Todd is committed to the University's mission with its emphasis on a strong biblical core, general education, professional studies and a global perspective for ministry.”
